Audi RS lineup has officially returned to America as a veteran racer Don Istook took delivery of a 2012 TT-RS.
Though the name may not ring a bell, Istook was among the first to race an Audi Quattro in the U.S.. According to Istook, "I love my street car to give me some of that emotion. With my new Audi TT-RS, not just give me that feeling, but I have as healthy as car racing." "
As noted above, $ 56.850 TT-RS is a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder with 355 hp (265 kW / 360 hp) and 343 lb.-ft. (465 Nm) of torque. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission that allows the pound 3306 (1.500 kg) coupe accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds.
