Auto Express says that the model is based on the new generation of Lexus GS. This seems a strange choice considering the FT-86 would be the prime candidate for a hybrid powertrain, but this could mean the car is bigger coupe that can serve as a halo model. Regardless, the vehicle is expected to have a plug-in hybrid cars, lithium-ion battery and manual.
